Mother's Day: Sunset

Sunset: Pink amaryllis, Sarah Bernhardt peonies, foxglove, pink finesse roses, soft pink hydrangea, astrantia, tulips and eucalyptus.  When the sun finally sets, her job is far from over. She is up finishing and fretting and dreaming and cheering on our behalf. Our signature Mother's Day: Sunset was designed to emulate the setting Arizona sun. Mother's Day: Golden Hour

Golden Hour: Peach amaryllis, carpe diem roses, white peonies, hydrangea, hyacinth, spirea and eucalyptus. Our momma's are warm and tender and beautiful. When we created our custom florals for Mother's Day this year we wanted this arrangement to express just that... The golden hour is a magical time of day and when everything is glowing. Maybe it's the pep in her step, maybe it's all the lush curls, maybe it's the smile that won't quit, maybe it's the constant laughs, maybe it's the infectious enthusiasm, maybe it is all the wild she creates with her floral designs...or maybe it's all of that. Juliette is our resident floral designer and flowershop happy. Her design eye is coupled with her ability to make all things grow and spread sunshine wherever she goes.  Her magic goes beyond the shop and into her living space where her plants get to experience the love of Jules all the day long. Here is a little sneak peak into her jungalow studio: Here is a little session of "get to know":  Name:...

Born in 1664, she revolutionized how still life and particularly florals were painted and perceived. Rusych was an apprentice of painters and a natural collector alongside her father, a Professor of Anatomy and Botany, whose work quickly became internationally known. It was highly sought after and was more valuable on the market than the works of Rembrandt in her lifetime, a fulfilling 86 years. Rusych's application is rococo, it is her own, it is everlasting, it is natural, it is technical, and for us...
