Raawii designer Nicholai Wiig-Hansen’s Strøm collection is impossibly chic and tastefully modern. The geometric shapes and bright colors of these functional bowls, pitchers, and vases are a nod to the objects in the still-life pieces of Danish painter Vilhelm Lundstrøm, a 20th-century Cubism artist. They are art brought to life as earthenware pieces, handmade and slip-cast in Portugal.

Founded in 2017, Raawii is a Copanhagen-based studio led by Bo Raahauge and Nicholai Wiig-Hansen. They aim to create designs with attitude, and their work is anchored by their principles of creating well-proportioned products, producing with respect for people, and providing excellent conditions for designers. Design and art are inextricably entwined in their process, and refined simplicity is always married with everyday functionality in their work.
