SAME-DAY DELIVERY GUARANTEED ON ORDERS PLACED BEFORE 2PM

Q: Where do your flowers come from?

A: We have amazing relationships with our farmers and we buy the bulk of our flowers from local AZ farmers, as well as Oregon, California, and Washington mom-and-pop owned farms. We buy our specialty, out-of-season, and rare flowers from markets abroad via a variety of market whole sellers....ie, yes, we can get peonies in November.

Q: How often do you receive new shipments of flowers?

A: Every. Single. Day. We order our flowers every day for the following day, so it is usually about 24 hours from the time it was actually cut from the farm to the time we receive it in-store...as apposed to the standard 3-4 day wait time. We do indeed pay more for the convenience of extremely freshly cut and shipped flowers, and we think it is well worth it.

Q: The flowers I ordered on-line did not look exactly like the flowers on your website. Why is that?

A: We are in the business of providing very fresh, seasonal flowers. As stated in our policy section, at the time of purchase, if the season or market does not yield a particular flower shown, we will replace that flower with another lovely flower of like color, size and price.

Q: What are your shop hours?

A: Mon-Fri 8AM-6PM

A: Sat-Sun 8AM-2PM

Q: How do I care for my fresh flowers?

A: Four steps to easy fresh flower care:

  1. Change the water every day.
  2. Keep the water level at the top of the vase.
  3. Give those beauties a fresh cut every other day.
  4. Keep flowers out of direct sunlight, heat and direct air-conditioning.

Q: How do I care for my orchid?

A: Orchids thrive in a damp and humid and a filtered-light environment, which means Arizona is not a prime environment for these island flowers. Still want them in your life? Of course you do! We do too. Here is how to best care for them in our sunny, dry world - Place four ice cubes at the base of your orchid plant and allow to melt 1-2 times per week. Keep out of direct sunlight and air conditioning. Do not touch your orchid too often. They do not like to be fussed with. They do like to be sung to though. Definitely singing.

Q: How do I care for my succulents?

A: Many people assume that these juicy plants are native to Arizona, when in fact, very few (such as cacti), are native to Arizona. Most of the juicy succulents are native to California. They thrive in loose, sandy soil, with a touch of humidity and dew. To care for them in AZ, let them dry out almost completely (but not completely) in between watering days and pluck any dying leaves. Water lightly and take note how quickly the soil dries out based on its location in your home, ie., filtered sunlight vs. full sunlight. Repeat watering weekly or every other week. You must get to know the space in which you place your succulents and allow them to adjust to their new environment. Succulents do enjoy lots of filtered sunlight but during our hotter days/seasons, do not leave outside as they will burn in our dry heat.

Q: When do you offer design classes and how can I participate?

A: We offer many flower bouquet, flower crown, succulent garden, and atrium design classes. Please refer to our “design workshops” page for tickets, dates and additional information.
