With a strong metal grinding "3DCut" mechanism, it is designed to really grind the pepper and not just smash it, maximising flavour and aroma. 

The three step grinding first grabs and cracks the salt and breaks it in half, then cuts it into smaller pieces before finally passing through the smaller teeth. Fast and effective grinding.
