Poglia uses recycled objects and sustainably-sourced materials to craft their products, inspired by natural elements and age-old craftsmanship. Each knife from the brand is forged by a second-generation blacksmith and is hand-crafted by eight skilled artisans - from the brand’s designers in New York to their craftsmen in the South of Brazil, where founder/designer Maximiliano Poglia grew up. Nearly all steel is reclaimed from forgotten agricultural tools like plow disks, a practice that is not only earth-friendly but also improves the strength of the blades and creates a unique finish that is impossible to replicate.
