Mom part 3 // Sunday May 12

Brigitte Bardot You see, she is complex. Our mother's sometimes are...like the ever lasting sex symbol Brigitte Bardot. She was married four times. She has a son and they were estranged and have since reconciled. She was an actress, singer, dancer, model. She's an animal rights activist. There was and is a lot going on. Most of our mother's are like BB - they are complex creatures with complex needs, wants, and destinations. But to us, they are always beautiful and hopefully, always themselves.  The Brigitte Bardot is in our Mother's Day Shop. Florals include a mix of garden roses and sorbet colored seasonal blooms in a brass plated vase. Order online or call the shop at 602-840-4646.

Mom part 2 // Sunday May 12

Kate Middleton We are honoring the mothers, the more traditional mums in our lives, and inspired by royalty this round. The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine "Kate" Middleton, is a mother of 3 and has been a model mother in public. Really, how does she do it? And her look is impeccable. We envy the hats.    Is your mother the epitome of grace and smiles all while wearing just the right ensemble? We bet she is. And we bet she loves babies too.  Order the Kate Middleton online or call the shop at 602-840-4646. We would love to arrange this design for you and have it ready for delivery or pick up on May 12.    "Sophisticated, but plays by...

Passover and Easter Prep

Definitions become part of the fabric of our society, family lives, culture, conversation, gifts, joys, sorrows, struggles, triumphs. As Passover and Easter approach, our shop is effected by these days and all their meanings to all our different clientele.  Passover: (AKA Pesach) is the springtime holiday observed by Jewish people everywhere on the date when G‑d took the Jewish people out of Egypt. It lasts for eight days (seven days in Israel), during which no bread, or anything that contains grain that has fermented, is to be consumed or even owned. Easter:  also called Pascha (Greek, Latin) or Resurrection Sunday, is a festival and holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day after his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD. It is...

March Showers Brings Green

What a March it has been. The green is green, really green. We are celebrating the late snow on the mountains and the spring creek run off to all the desert animals and plants. Come in and experience the green. No, please, we beg you. It's our treat.  And don't forget the creosote bundle for the shower. Bring it indoors. Spring is for inside and out.  x Teresa
