Teresa Wilson at home.
This week our chieftain Teresa Wilson was featured in a lovely article "Inside Camelback Flowershop Owner Teresa Wilson's Cozy Phoenix Ranch House" by Cristen Pennington. Teresa was able to showcase her incredible "war room",
Fortoul Collection, and share her story of the flowershop being written in the stars. We are so excited to share all her insights with our beloved desert residents.
Here are some of our favorite shots and favorite quotes:
1. Wilson recognizes the significance of creating a warm and welcoming environment in her shop, so she invests in her employees and trains them to maintain that sensibility.
“Talk to everyone who comes through the door as though they’re walking into your living room,” she says.
“That’s how I want my friends, potential clients, everyone to feel when they’re around Teresa. It’s not about spending money; it’s about being kind and being a good member of this community.”
2.
“and then he looked at my birth date and said it was in the stars.” (Teresa's birthday was the day the shop became hers.)
3.
“It was quite a few shades of taupe,” she remembers. (We are not a fan of taupe walls. She had them painted white to showcase her art collection immediately.)
Thank you Phoenix New Times for featuring Teresa and most importantly, thank you for being our guest Cristin.

P.S. Teresa mentions how much Fresh Flower Happy Hour is her favorite shop tradition. Come in today to take part in Teresa's favorite part of the week from 1PM-6PM at our location on Indian School Rd.
