We thought we'd put the happy hour back in Fresh Flower Happy Hour by inviting award-winning mixologist Libby Lingua to share craft cocktail recipes created with unique spirits from SAUVAGE and our edible flowers. Peruse Libby's creations and procure your edible flowers with your Fresh Flower Happy Hour order on Friday's. French 75 1 ounce Gin½ ounce Fresh Lemon Juice½ ounce Rich Simple Syrup (2 parts sugar to 1 part water)Top with Sparkling WineFor an interesting twist, steep up to 10 ounces of Gin with 2 bags of a tea (Lavender infusion is amazing) at room temperature for 30 minutes before mixing.  Summer Garden Collins 2 ounces Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit & Rose¾ ounce Fresh Lemon Juice¾ ounce Honey Syrup (2 parts honey to 1 part water)Top with soda water (flavored or plain) or sparkling wineFor an interesting twist, steep up to 10...

Women and Their Cactus fields

Maricopa Women by Edward Curtis Women have long been in the fields of saguaros and prickly pear and cholla and grasses investing and collecting provisions. The shop is invested in bringing in native plants to continue our relationship with them and hoping our clients will learn from and take care of the flora of the desert. Like the women before us, we hope learning the care of the earth and its fruits sustain life for generations to come.  Photographer Edward Curtis is famous for collecting images of native Arizonans and others at the turn of the century.
