Summer is now. As the Valley shifts to summer mode and we prepare for the season ahead, our shop is doing the same. We are exploiting our best friends - the cactus -to cheer us up and standby us in the sun. We have potted varieties in the shop ready for your poolside celebration or summer birthday plant lady.  Paddle or Totem in white or terra cotta...we have the variations and the experts. Come in and let's build your look together. We endorse all plants all the time, especially amongst our desert brethren.  We hope we see you this summer and may all your beach time and pool time be just as good as it was when you were kids......

Women and Their Cactus fields

Maricopa Women by Edward Curtis Women have long been in the fields of saguaros and prickly pear and cholla and grasses investing and collecting provisions. The shop is invested in bringing in native plants to continue our relationship with them and hoping our clients will learn from and take care of the flora of the desert. Like the women before us, we hope learning the care of the earth and its fruits sustain life for generations to come.  Photographer Edward Curtis is famous for collecting images of native Arizonans and others at the turn of the century. House Plants // House Pets

The life of a plant in our shop as seen as just that- a life- like a pet. We often refer to our plants as "plant babies"...well, you get the idea.  Our shop stays stocked with house plants, life, moving in and out, changing shape every moment. Their leaves form, their branches grow, their color morphs. We watch and nurture and enjoy and take care of them until they find their forever home. Grand Opening//Thursday-January 18,2017 6-9PM
